Happy November 1st! A new month that starts on a Sunday-a perfect time to start a new HABIT. Hark! The word of the week is born!
Habit-an acquired pattern of behavior that often occurs automatically (Wikipedia).
Monday-Write down some of your habits. It might help to ask others what your habits are. Admitting you have a habit is the first step!
Tuesday-Replace one of your less desirable habits with a better habit. It is really hard, if not impossible, to stop a “bad” habit without first having something to replace it.
Wednesday-Find a good habit from your list and praise yourself for the great work. You deserve a pat on the back! Keep it up!
Thursday-Have a reward program set up. Get yourself something (a pedicure, a new pair of socks, a book, etc) for continuing with the new habit. Small things can make a big difference in your attitude towards the new habit. A new pair of underoos works well for me!
Friday-Check this article out about making habits stick!
“Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.” (ThinkExist)
There is a TON of great quotes on habits. Check them out!
