This/that, good/bad, now/later.
So many choices, so little time! Everyday we make choices-how to dress, what to eat, our attitude and the list goes on. Anger (last week’s word) is a choice, just like happiness. This week be aware of the times when you have a choice (which is 99% of the time). Make the best choice you can!
Monday-Realize today that not all choices are this OR that. Sometimes they can be an AND. For example-you don’t have to choose between work OR play. Find ways to make work feel like play. Work AND play.
Tuesday-Notice the space between an action and your reaction. It’s there, no matter how short of time may pass. Recognize that moment as your time to make the best choice possible.
Wednesday-Choose love. When faced with a decision or difficulty, let love be your guide. What would love do?
Thursday- Reflect. What choices did you make today? Would your response still be the same after looking back? Take time today to pause and ponder. See where improvements could be made and where you excelled.
Friday- Look around your environment. Your home, your friends, you job, etc. Are these things, people and places helping or hindering your progress?
Be careful the environment you choose for it will shape you; be careful the friends you choose for you will become like them -W. Clement Stone
What we call the secret of happiness is no more a secret than our willingness to choose life -Leo F. Buscaglia
A man is happy so long as he chooses to be happy and nothing can stop him. -Alexander Solzenitsyn
