Words of Radiance

Word of the Week-Tread

Tread softly through the newly blooming flowers and grass.
Tread-to step on or walk over

Monday-think about whose feet have trod where you do; someone famous, a war fought where you stood, your lovable pet.
The feet of the humblest may walk in the field where the feet of the Holiest Trod, this, then is the marvel to mortals revealed -Phillip Brooks

Tuesday-pay attention where you step. Avoid stepping on others.
People never add to their stature by treading on the others’ toes

Wednesday-tread a different way. Forge a new path
Our wretched species is so made that hose who walk on the well-trodden path always throw stones at those who are showing a new road -Voltaire

Thursday-tread lightly
But I, being poor, have only my dreams. I have spread my dreams under your feet; tread softly, because you tread on my dreams -William Butler Yeats

Friday-carbon footprint-what’s yours?
