A SWEET side dish that could be dessert!
3 lbs carrrots, sliced
1/4 c maple syrup (my fav is from Trader Joes)
2 tbsp unsalted butter (fresh made from the cow is best!)
Salt & Pepper
In a large skillet, combine carrots, syrup & butter, 1/3 c water, salt & pepper. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat & simmer, partically covered, sitring once, until carrots are tender & the liquid has reduced to a glzed, 12-15 minutes. Yummy!
